Audi has started rolling out AUDI OS 1.3.0 to the E5 Sportback in China. The update is notable because it upgrades both assisted driving and the everyday handoff between a phone map and the in-car navigation system.

Autohome says the panoramic assisted-driving system now uses a new Momenta reinforcement-learning model. The brand is positioning that change as an improvement to the underlying decision-making layer rather than a cosmetic interface update.
What changed
The update also adds Baidu Maps account synchronization. A route planned on a phone can be sent directly to the vehicle; once the driver gets in, the route can be launched from the car without entering the destination again.
Smaller changes include keeping the electronic rear-view mirror’s temporary reversing view active during frequent gear changes, adding guidance for launch-control operation, and refining traffic-light countdown display placement in the head-up display.
EV InnoTech take
This is the kind of software update that makes modern EV ownership feel different from the old model-year cycle. The hardware may be fixed, but route planning, driver assistance behavior and interface polish can still improve after delivery.
