Lexus is giving the UX300h a quieter, more premium special-edition treatment. Autohome reports that the UX300h Shining Essence edition will launch in Japan on September 1, after the UX family reached roughly 400,000 cumulative sales across more than 80 markets.
The update centers on a pale blue SOU paint finish, silver grille detailing, 18-inch wheels and body-color wheel-arch trim.

Inside, Lexus adds mesh-style trim panels and standard comfort features including heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic-view camera, power tailgate and head-up display.
Why it matters
For hybrid crossovers, incremental polish still matters. Lexus is not chasing the loudest EV story here; it is using refinement and equipment to keep an older platform relevant.

UX300h Shining Essence is a reminder that premium hybrids still have a role where buyers value low fuel use but are not ready to move fully electric.
