Denza is splitting its N8 family into a more focused five-seat electric SUV. Autohome reports that Denza has released official images of the N8 after the model completed MIIT filing.
The new SUV largely follows the N8L design language but uses a 2+3 five-seat cabin and is 50 mm shorter overall. Other key dimensions are unchanged, keeping it in the large premium SUV conversation.

Powertrain choices include single-motor and high-output triple-motor configurations, which gives Denza room to cover both comfort-oriented family buyers and customers looking for a performance halo.
Why it matters
BYD’s premium brands are becoming more segmented. A shorter five-seat N8 lets Denza serve buyers who want space and status without committing to a larger multi-row layout.

The N8 shows Denza refining its electric SUV ladder rather than relying on one body style to cover every family use case.
