Changan Qiyuan is preparing a larger SUV that leans hard into family-cabin features. Autohome reports that official interior images of the Qiyuan Q06 have been released before a planned September launch.
The Q06 is built on Changan’s SDA platform and uses a crossover SUV body shape. The interior preview highlights a rear ceiling screen and a cabin layout aimed at family travel rather than only front-row technology.

Autohome says the model has already appeared in MIIT filings and that its maximum range is expected to reach 700 km, with both pure-electric and range-extended positioning around the broader Qiyuan product plan.
Why it matters
Family SUVs in China are increasingly judged by second-row comfort and entertainment. Qiyuan is trying to compete on that experience while keeping range anxiety out of the discussion.

The Q06 looks like Changan’s attempt to move Qiyuan into a more spacious, tech-heavy family SUV bracket.
