GAC Aion is putting motor efficiency at the center of the next RT update. Autohome reports that the 2027 Aion RT will launch on August 10 with a new amorphous alloy electric drive.
Official test data cited by Autohome puts energy consumption as low as 8.571 kWh/100 km, compared with 11.7 kWh/100 km for the current Aion RT.
The current model starts from RMB 99,800 and offers 520 km or 650 km CLTC range depending on battery and motor configuration. LiDAR-equipped versions use a 126-line LiDAR and Nvidia Orin-X chip.
