Denza has launched a lower-cost version of its second-generation D9 plug-in hybrid MPV at RMB 329,800 (about $48,700) in China.
Key specifications
The new trim keeps a 1.5-liter engine, dual motors and BYD鈥檚 God鈥檚 Eye B lidar driver-assistance package, but removes equipment including the head-up display, passenger screen and some rear-seat heating and ventilation functions.
Its 58.5 kWh second-generation Blade battery delivers 350 km of CLTC electric range. Denza quotes 1,480 km of combined range, while the front and rear motors produce 200 kW and 45 kW respectively.
