Geely’s highly popular compact EV, the Geely Xingyuan, has officially crossed a monumental milestone: 600,000 cumulative deliveries in China. To celebrate the achievement, Geely has introduced a stunning new body color called “Sakura Pink”, inspired by the spring cherry blossoms of Hangzhou. Priced between ¥68,800 and ¥98,800 (approx. $9,500 to $13,600 USD), the Xingyuan has dominated the budget EV segment by offering tech and design previously reserved for much more expensive vehicles. Aesthetic Appeal: Built for the Young and Trendy The Xingyuan features a rounded, friendly design language with a closed-off front grille and distinctively shaped headlights. The new “Sakura Pink” joins an already playful “ice cream-inspired” color palette that includes Vanilla Beige, Basil Green, Ice Berry Pink, Milk Cap White, and Mousse Silver. Buyers can mix and match these with interior options like Sky Mirror White, Starry Night Grey, and Reed Beige. Compact Size, Smart Architecture Built on Geely’s advanced GEA New Energy Architecture, the Xingyuan measures 4,135mm long, 1,805mm wide, and 1,570mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,650mm. This makes it the perfect size for tight urban environments while maintaining a surprisingly spacious cabin. Flyme Auto: Smartphone-Level Infotainment The interior is a massive selling point. It features the Flyme Auto smart cabin system (developed in collaboration with Meizu), running on a choice of a 10.1-inch or a massive 14.6-inch central touchscreen. The interface is buttery smooth and perfectly matches the digital habits of Gen Z consumers. Up to 410km Range + Rapid Charging Powered by a rear-mounted single motor (available in 58kW or 85kW outputs), the Xingyuan offers two CLTC range options: 310km and 410km. The battery packs utilize CATL cells with a standard liquid-cooling temperature control system. Charging is impressively fast for a budget EV: it supports a 1.66C peak charging rate, meaning a 30% to 80% charge takes just 21 minutes. Need a quick top-up? A 10-minute charge adds 120km of range. Why It Matters Hitting 600,000 deliveries is no small feat in China’s hyper-competitive EV market. At just $9,500 USD, the Geely Xingyuan proves that affordable city cars do not have to compromise on tech, range, or style. For anyone watching the global EV space, this is the benchmark for entry-level electric mobility. 分享文章𝕏Twitter / XfFacebookinLinkedIn✈Telegram✔WhatsApprReddit🦋Bluesky🐘MastodonPPinterest Post navigation Geely Xingyuan (Geome) Hits 600,000 Deliveries, Launches New ‘Cherry Blossom Pink’ for Under $10,000 USD NIO ES8 5-Seat Version Launches July 2026 — 48-Inch Skyline Screen, 900V, 0-100 in 3.97s
