BYD鈥檚 premium Denza brand has released official images of the Z9S, a more compact, sport-focused companion to the Z9. The EV is due to launch in China before the end of 2026 in rear-wheel-drive and tri-motor all-wheel-drive forms.
Key specifications
The Z9S measures 5,090 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,490 mm tall, with a 3,025 mm wheelbase. That makes it 145 mm shorter and 100 mm shorter between the axles than the Z9.
The single-motor model produces 370 kW, while the Yi San Fang tri-motor version reaches 890 kW. Both use a 102.326 kWh battery; declared CLTC range is 920 km for the single-motor car and 780 km for the tri-motor model.
