Dongfeng will launch the eπ M8 on July 23 after opening pre-sales at RMB 199,800 (about $29,500). The large six-seat SUV was jointly developed with Huawei Qiankun and comes standard with six Huawei technology packages.
Key specifications
The M8 measures 5,020 mm long with a 3,025 mm wheelbase. Cabin hardware includes a 50-inch head-up display, 16.1-inch 3K Huawei screen, HarmonySpace 5.2, 21-speaker Huawei Sound system and second-row airline-style seats.
The 800V battery-electric version uses a 230 kW motor and CATL battery for 600 km of CLTC range. A range-extender model combines a 1.5-liter generator with a 215 kW drive motor and offers 300 km of CLTC electric range.
