Freelander is trying to make its comeback feel digital from the first product. Autohome reports that Freelander has released smart-cabin information for the Freelander 8, the first model from the brand.
The cockpit uses a T-shaped bridge-style control layout with a 46.3-inch distant display, a 15.6-inch Mini LED center screen and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8397 cabin chip.

According to earlier planning cited by Autohome, the vehicle is scheduled for an official reveal this autumn, with global launch activity expected later in the year.
Why it matters
New and revived nameplates in China cannot arrive with a basic interior anymore. The first sales argument often starts with screens, chips and software responsiveness.

Freelander 8 is being positioned around cabin technology as much as vehicle nostalgia or brand recognition.
