Haval is bringing its Hi2 hybrid branding to the regular Big Dog SUV. Autohome reports that the Haval Big Dog Hi2 has appeared in MIIT filings.
The filing shows a boxy SUV profile close to the current Big Dog family, with hybrid badging and a 1.5T gasoline-electric system.

Autohome says the engine is rated at 115 kW and is expected to pair with a two-speed DHT, continuing Great Wall’s broader hybrid rollout across SUV lines.
Why it matters
The Big Dog series is built around personality and utility, but hybridization can make it easier to sell that image to buyers watching fuel cost and city-driving efficiency.
