Great Wall is widening the Raptor family beyond its plug-in hybrid formula. Autohome reports that MIIT filing images show a Haval Raptor Hi4 gasoline-electric hybrid version.
The new version keeps the square SUV look of the existing Raptor Hi4 PHEV, but changes the powertrain to a 1.5T hybrid system. The vehicle measures up to 4,800 mm long, 1,950 mm wide and 1,855 mm tall, with a 2,738 mm wheelbase.

Autohome says the 1.5T engine is rated at 115 kW and is expected to work with a two-speed DHT. The filing also points to dual motors and four-wheel drive, with a 170 km/h top speed.
Why it matters
Chinese brands are increasingly using multiple hybrid formats under the same nameplate, giving buyers different balances of price, efficiency and electric-driving commitment.

The Raptor Hi4 filing suggests Haval wants more price and powertrain flexibility in rugged-looking family SUVs.
