Lotus is using a limited China-market model to keep attention on its electrified performance plan. Autohome reports that the first Lotus FOR ME Black Gold Limited Edition has rolled off the line, with all 78 units already sold.
The model is priced at RMB 638,000 and uses a black-and-gold theme inspired by classic Lotus racing colors. It is built around a 900V super-hybrid architecture with 952 hp, a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds and more than 1,400 km CLTC combined range.

Lotus also outlined second-half 2026 products including Emira Scura, Emira 420 Sport, EMEYA/ELETRE 900 performance upgrades and further FOR ME customization editions.
For international readers, that China-market figure converts to approximately $94,137 (RMB 638,000) at today’s approximate exchange rate.
Why it matters
For Lotus in China, electrification is not only about efficiency. The brand has to show that high-voltage systems, hybrid range and performance theater can sit inside a coherent premium identity.

The sold-out FOR ME edition is a small-volume signal, but it keeps Lotus visible in China’s high-performance electrified niche.
