Maextro says pre-orders for its V680 and V800 luxury MPVs exceeded 10,000 units in 23 days. The Huawei-backed brand plans to launch both seven-seat models in early August.

The V680 is priced from RMB 650,000 to RMB 900,000 ($95,900-$132,800), while the larger V800 spans RMB 800,000 to RMB 1.2 million ($118,000-$177,100). The V800 has a 3,430 mm wheelbase; the V680 measures 3,290 mm between the axles.
The V800 uses a 1.5-liter range extender, 160 kW front motor and 230 kW rear motor. A 63.2 kWh CATL ternary battery provides 275 km of WLTC electric range.
