MG 07 has officially entered production. Autohome reports that the first production car rolled off the line at SAIC Passenger Vehicle’s Zhengzhou base on July 2, with the factory also reaching its three-millionth vehicle milestone.
The MG 07 is positioned as a personality-driven new energy coupe and is notable for using Momenta R7 world-model driver-assistance technology.
For MG, the production start matters because the brand has to keep building a China-market identity while also serving export markets where MG has become one of SAIC’s strongest global names.

Driver-assistance suppliers are becoming more visible in Chinese vehicle launches. Naming Momenta in the product story tells buyers that software capability is part of the car’s core proposition, not a hidden subsystem.
