Nio Starts Deliveries of Five-Seat ES8 with BaaS Pricing from RMB 274,800

Nio is putting the five-seat ES8 into customer hands with a lower battery-subscription entry point. Autohome reports that nationwide deliveries of the new five-seat Nio ES8 officially began on July 12.

The large SUV is sold in two trims priced from RMB 382,800 to RMB 422,800. With Nio’s BaaS battery rental plan, the starting price falls to RMB 274,800.

The five-seat layout gives Nio another way to sell flagship space and comfort to buyers who do not need a three-row family vehicle.
