Qijing GX7 has appeared in China MIIT filing information, moving the large five-seat SUV closer to launch. The model uses a range-extender layout, a 67 kWh CATL battery and a driver-assistance system with four LiDAR sensors.

Dimensions and cabin concept

The GX7 measures 5,099 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,750 mm tall, with a 3,070 mm wheelbase. Qijing describes the model as a 7-series nameplate with 8-series-level space.

A three-fold flat-bed mode can fold the seats into a flat resting area in about 20 seconds, targeting lunch breaks, long trips and camping use cases.

Powertrain and charging

The GX7 uses an 800V 5C range-extender platform with a 67 kWh CATL Xiaoyao battery. CLTC electric range is listed at 385 km, while combined fuel-electric range reaches 1,400 km.

The battery can charge from 30% to 80% in less than 10 minutes. A three-motor system gives the SUV a claimed 0-100 km/h time in the three-second range. The expected pricing band is around 400,000 yuan (58,996 USD).
