Stellantis is trying to show momentum while its China-linked EV strategy expands in Europe. Autohome reports that Stellantis released its estimated global shipment figures for the second quarter of 2026.
The group expects Q2 shipments of 1.6 million vehicles as of June 30, up 10% from the same quarter in 2025.

Autohome frames the update alongside Leapmotor鈥檚 European expansion, which remains one of the more visible examples of a Chinese EV brand using a global legacy automaker鈥檚 distribution muscle.
Why it matters
For Chinese EV companies, Europe is both opportunity and stress test: homologation, tariffs, retail support and brand trust all become harder outside the home market.

The Stellantis-Leapmotor link is still one of the more important experiments in exporting Chinese EV capability through a global OEM channel.
