Yijing is preparing the X9 as a technology-heavy large SUV. Autohome reports that the flagship SUV will open presales and begin launch deliveries in the third quarter, while introducing the Sky Shield safety architecture.
The new architecture is described as deeply integrated with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, and Autohome says the driver-assistance package will be standard across the range.

That combination matters because large Chinese SUVs are increasingly sold on a three-part promise: family space, structural safety and advanced assisted driving.
Why it matters
Standardizing high-end driver assistance can simplify the message for buyers and may also help the brand avoid the confusing trim walk that often hides key safety technology behind expensive options.

Yijing X9 is being framed less as a simple large SUV and more as a safety-and-software flagship.
